We are excited to welcome you to our community ice rink, one of many recipients of EPCOR’s community rink grant this year! With EPCOR’s grant, we can create a safe place to skate in Edmonton and stay off dangerous stormwater ponds. While the ponds in our neighbourhood may look safe, they are working drainage facilities. Water is constantly moving beneath the surface, making the ice dangerously unpredictable. This winter, let’s come together to remind friends, family, and neighbours to choose a safe location to enjoy the outdoors! Learn more at epcor.com/wintersafety #skatesafeyeg
Nominate a Rink Volunteer for a Recognition Opportunity: We know that volunteers play a massive role in keeping community rinks running, which is why we would like to profile their stories to remind Edmontonians of the care and work that go into creating safe places to skate.
We are hoping to profile four rink volunteers via social media, and as a token of appreciation, each volunteer will receive a pack of four Loge tickets to an upcoming Oil Kings game!
If you would like to nominate someone in your community, please send the following information by January 15:
- Your name, email address and phone number:
- Nominee name and email address:
- Please note: This profile will include some videos/photos, and we ask that you check with your nominee to ensure they are comfortable with this before nominating them.
